Magdalena Pogwizd, MD, PhD is a graduate of the Silesian Medical Academy in Katowice. She is a specialist in internal medicine and endocrinology registered in the English Medical Chamber (GMC).
She gained professional training in Krakow. She worked in the Clinical Department of the Endocrinology Clinic of the University Hospital in Krakow, where she completed specialist training in internal medicine and endocrinology.
She obtained the title of specialist in internal medicine in 2010. Then she completed training in endocrinology and obtained the title of specialist in endocrinologist in 2015. In addition to clinical work, she also worked in scientific work for several years. A particular scientific interest and topic of her doctoral dissertation was the use of radioactive iodine in the treatment of hyperthyroidism.
